Angela started practicing yoga in 2005 to improve flexibility and prevent injury, but soon noticed other benefits including better sleep, better fitting clothes, improved mood and reduced feelings of stress and anxiety.

Originally from Central Florida, Angela spent almost three decades working in residential treatment and educational settings with students with learning difficulties, emotional and behavioral disorders and autism. She moved to Charlotte with her husband after retiring in 2018. She’s earned certifications in Vinyasa, Yin, Anusara Hatha, Aerial,and I AM Yoga Nidra. She is an Usui Reiki Master Teacher, Metaphysician and Ro-Hun therapist.

Angela hopes yoga brings her students continually improving physical and emotional health, a sense of connection within the yoga community and the world around us and a deep spiritual connection to the self and Source. It is ok to just breathe; to be still and quiet; to know peace and to know oneself.
