An online yoga class in 2019 was Kimmy’s introduction to any sort of exercise or movement practice, and it felt like drinking water for the first time and realizing you’d been thirsty all your life—movement immediately became an essential daily practice. Kimmy was drawn to yoga’s integration of body and mind and supplemented her asana practice by reading everything she could about yoga philosophy and the interplay of physical and mental health. Kimmy loves yoga as a way to look inward and cultivate a loving relationship with self. She completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2021 and is excited to begin teaching at Tejas.
