We will address the business of yoga, ethics, inclusivity, and how you can market your brand of yoga.
Module 4: Yoga History & Lineages

We dive into the thousands of years of oral, written, and assumed history of yoga. We follow the roots of the lineages to the ages and practice each style to see what resonates with you.
Module 5: Movement Foundations

Every body is unique and we have to take that into account when we teach yoga. You will learn how the body moves and how to safely lead a yoga class into and out of various shapes.
Module 6: Pranayama History & Practice
June 7, 8, 9
You will learn the history of pranayama (breath work practice), the significance of pranayama on yoga, and how we can teach students how to self-regulate by using their breath.

We will have several professionals showcase their modalities in wellness, holistic medicine, and yoga.
Module 8: The Subtle Body
August 9, 10, 11
The subtle body is what we cannot see – the energy matrix that flows through and around us. We will dive deep into this system and how we interact with it during yoga practice. Including chakras, koshas, nadis, mudras, and more!
Module 9: Meditation Foundations
September 13, 14, 15
You will learn the history and importance of meditation and how we can incorporate it into our yoga classes.
Module 10: Anatomy & Biomechanics

A foundational exploration of the human body.
Module 11: Yin & Yang Practices
November 1, 2, 3
This module is the exploration of yin and yang postures and sequences that can be used to encourage physical and energetic responses in the students.
Module 12: Advanced Anatomy & Biomechanics

We will explore deeper concepts about the human body and how the body responds to energetic inputs.
